Maya camping
Camping on Maya Bay on Phi Phi island is a new tour that has started in 2007. It brings together some of the best features of Phi Phi island, namely a world famous beach, the clean air and some of the best scenery imaginable. Maya Bay is on Phi Phi Ley, the uninhabited small island of the Phi Phi islands and was made famous when Leonardo DiCaprio made his movie "The Beach".
Camping on Maya Bay is for those who love nature. The beach has one of the most extraordinary views in the world looking out to an almost perfectly round series of cliffs. The beach area is quite wide and rocks back maybe 100 meters from the high tide mark, and with the beach provides a large playing area to enjoy an amazing view.
The camping tour of Maya Bay leaves a Loh dalum by old fishing boats at about 4:00 in the afternoon and slowly motors around the west coast of Phi Phi Don under the tallest cliffs of the islands. This is a remarkable boat and camping trip, a fun experience.
Bamboo camping
Bamboo Island is a small island not far from Phi Phi Don; it has a beautiful beach, can be reached comfortably by longtail boat and even can be seen from the Phi Phi Viewpoint.
Snorkeling and swimming from the beach is possible and on a normal daytrip from Phi Phi, several hours time for that is given.
We have no camping service to sell here but you can find at the tour shop around here. |
